Revised Olympic Planning Applications
The Planning application
for the Equestrian Events is due to be
considered by the Planning Board at its meeting on (the rescheduled date of) 26 January. However, the Planning Board paper states that
"The original submission has now been revised so that this application is only dealing with 4 matters in condition 36 relating to construction traffic and workers. Another application will be submitted in due course dealing with the wider transport issues such as rail and bus services."
No date has been given for Consideration of these crucial transport issues; the next scheduled meeting of the Planning Board is on 23 February. Once the full application is eventually approved, the Opening Ceremonies for the 2012 Games are scheduled to take place on 27th July
